Cloud data warehouse company\u00a0Snowflake Computing<\/a>\u00a0opened a new Seattle-area engineering office Thursday to attract talent from the Pacific Northwest and augment its Silicon Valley headquarters. Demand for Snowflake\u2019s service for enterprises has grown exponentially, the company says, and it requires a fresh supply of world-class engineers to fuel its continued innovation.<\/p>\n

The new office is located in downtown Bellevue, which is often ranked one of the most desirable cities in the U.S. to live in, according to the announcement. Snowflake CEO Bob Muglia and Seattle Development Center Lead Leo Giakoumakis both spent time in the Seattle area while with Microsoft.<\/p>\n

The company is currently hiring product managers, engineering managers, senior and junior engineers for its Seattle office.<\/p>\n

Snowflake also has regional offices in New York and London.<\/p>\n
